The Laurel School District considers Chromebook and Internet usage both a privilege and a necessity for students to bridge the limits of our physical surroundings and to experience enhanced learning. Therefore, we view our staff, students, and families as vital stewards of our students' 1:1 learning.

Responsibilites

District
- The District will provide eachstudent with a chromebook/ipad/laptop (device) to enable access to learning at and away from school.
- The District will monitor, manage,and maintain all devices, as theseare the property of the Laurel School District.

Parent
- Parents will monitor the responsible use, daily care, and maintenance of the device.
- Parents will purchase insurance or be responsible for the cost of repairs. (More information willbe provided prior to start ofschool year).

Student
- Students will have the device available for learning at home and at school and will use the device for school use only.
- Students will be digitally responsible and treat the device with care at all times.
