Advanced Placement courses offer students the opportunity to work at a college level while in high school.
All students are required to take the Advanced Placement Exam at the completion of the course.
Scores for these College Board Exams range from a 1 to a 5. Students who score a 3 or above may be eligible for college credit. Acceptance of scores is dependent on the receiving college.
Laurel High School currently offers the following Advance Placement Courses:- AP Biology
- AP English Literature
- AP Statistics
- AP US History
- AP Environmental Science
